User Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Boomn account and eligible personal data at any time. This page explains what to send, what we delete, what we may need to retain, and how long the process usually takes.

Request deletion

Email privacy@getboomn.com from your Boomn account email with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". If you cannot access that email, include enough information for us to verify account ownership.

Step 1

Send your request

Email privacy@getboomn.com from the email address connected to your Boomn account. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your Boomn username if you know it.

Step 2

Verify ownership

We may ask you to confirm account ownership, sign in, or provide limited information so we can protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.

Step 3

Review and deletion

After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible account data, profile data, posts, preferences, notification tokens, and other personal information associated with your account.

Step 4

Confirmation

We will send confirmation when your request is complete or explain if we need more information to finish processing it.

Data usually deleted

  • Account profile details such as name, email address, username, photo, interests, occupation, onboarding responses, and settings.
  • User-generated content where deletion is technically and legally available, including posts, event content, profile content, drafts, and uploaded media.
  • Device and messaging metadata such as notification tokens, local app preference records stored in Boomn systems, and read-state records.
  • Creator workspace data such as Boomn Studio settings, scheduled content metadata, AI prompts saved in Boomn systems, and platform connection metadata.

Data we may retain

  • Payment, subscription, transfer, withdrawal, invoice, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, and accounting records that must be retained for legal, regulatory, security, or business obligations.
  • Security logs, abuse reports, moderation records, and enforcement records needed to protect Boomn, users, payment partners, or comply with law.
  • Backups and disaster recovery copies until they expire through ordinary backup rotation.
  • Content or messages that other users have independently received, copied, shared, saved, or are legally entitled to retain.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 10 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Some deleted information may remain in backups until normal backup rotation is complete.
